Community is the heart of Ash House, where residents share responsibilities for home upkeep and leisure time and strive to live together in harmony.

Accommodations and Services

• Rooms for rent at an affordable rate, allowing independent living with the necessary support.
• Residents are actively involved in chores, room care, and community engagement.
• Two evening meals are provided each week, along with weekly trips to Dollar Store and Walmart.
• Residents have the freedom to come and go as they choose.
• Assistance for medication pick-ups, with a registered nurse on call for residents.

Living Spaces

• Room rental includes a bed, pillow, bedding, dresser, lamp, TV with cable, and Wi-Fi.
• Shared spaces encompass bathrooms, laundry room (free machine usage), kitchen, and dining area.
• Security system monitors shared spaces, ensuring residents’ safety.

Admission Requirements at Ash House

In order to ensure a harmonious and supportive living environment at Ash House, residents are expected to meet the following requirements:

• Contractual Obligations
  All residents are required to sign a contract, and adherence to the terms is essential for continued occupancy.
• Code of Conduct
  Strict adherence to a code of conduct is imperative, with offenses such as bullying, fighting, theft, or any form of physical, verbal, or mental assault leading to immediate eviction.
• Referral Process
  Applicants typically come through referrals from other facilities, family members, or through self-referral.
• Self-Care Expectations
  Self-care is a fundamental expectation, encompassing daily hygiene routines, including a minimum of a weekly shower or bath. Residents are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of their bedroom space and regularly sweeping common areas.
• Linen and Clothing Care
  Residents wash and put up their own linen and clothing weekly, fostering a sense of personal responsibility.
• Household Chores and Cooperation
  Household chores are shared responsibilities, and cooperation among residents is vital for a thriving community.
• Smoke-Free and Sober Environment
  Smoking indoors is prohibited, and the premises maintain a strict no-alcohol and non-prescribed drug policy.
• Rent Details
  Rent, which includes utilities, internet, and laundry facilities, is set at $600/month. This all-encompassing fee contributes to the comfortable and well-maintained living spaces at Ash House.
